About Us
Inclusion Langley Society is a vibrant and dynamic organization that supports in excess of 2200 children with developmental or support needs, adults with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and their families. The Society’s activities are guided by a strong set of values and principles informed through our relationships with the people we serve and their families and friends. The Society offers a broad range of programs and services funded by various Ministries and Crown Agencies of the Province of BC.
What is Home Sharing?
Home Sharing is a partnership where caregivers open their homes and lives to an individual eligible for services under Community Living BC. Each arrangement is tailored to the person’s needs and preferences and may involve a shared living space or a separate suite within the home. Our team works closely with individuals and families to ensure the right match, focusing on respect, belonging, and community connection.
Contracted caregivers help individuals build relationships, develop life skills, and participate in community life while maintaining family ties. Support may include meal preparation, personal care, and assistance with daily routines.
All caregivers complete a thorough screening process, including a home study, criminal record check, driving record review, first aid certification, and reference checks.
