Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Diagnostic Specialist to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, extensive mechanical knowledge, and experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment. This role involves performing complex repairs, troubleshooting vehicle issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. Duties
- Conduct detailed diagnostics to identify vehicle issues using advanced tools and schematics
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, and more
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure accurate repairs
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for parts replacement or assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and preventative care
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines to ensure excellent customer service
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Prior experience in vehicle maintenance or repair roles demonstrating proficiency in heavy lifting and complex repairs
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate repair findings and recommendations

Pay: $70,092.00-$81,880.00 per year
