We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Construction Helper to join our commercial masonry team in Calgary. This is a full-time position with an immediate start. Previous masonry experience is not required—we're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
What You'll Do
- Assist masons with commercial masonry work.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Mix mortar and prepare materials for installation.
- Help with scaffolding setup and general site preparation.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all site safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to work at heights when required.
- A valid driver's licence is an asset but not required.
CSTS and Fall Protection certifications are required before starting work. If you don't have these certifications yet, we can provide information and links to approved training providers so you can complete the courses before your start date.
Schedule
- Monday to Saturday
- 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- 30-minute lunch break
Pay
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
