Prep / Line Cook
Smoke. Fire. Hustle.
Belle’s Kitchen + Music Hall is not your average restaurant. We’re a Texas-inspired smokehouse and live music hall serving up slow-smoked BBQ, Southern hospitality, cold drinks, and one helluva atmosphere in the heart of Winnipeg.
We’re looking for a Prep / Line Cook who takes pride in doing things right, moves with purpose, and understands that great food starts long before the ticket hits the rail. This role is for someone who can handle prep, work the line, stay organized during busy services, and be part of a kitchen team that takes the food seriously without taking itself too seriously.
This position requires full daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing ingredients, sauces, sides, and menu items according to Belle’s standards
- Working the line during service and helping keep ticket times moving
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Following recipes, prep lists, portioning standards, and kitchen procedures
- Keeping your station clean, stocked, and organized
- Assisting with opening, closing, cleaning, and daily kitchen duties
- Following food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Supporting your teammates when the rush hits hard
What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Prep and line experience is a strong asset
- Reliable, hardworking, and ready to move with urgency
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the food being served
- Ability to stay organized and composed under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Someone looking for a long-term role and opportunity to grow within a professional kitchen environment
- Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
