Rocket.ca, Canada's leading Fireworks retailer operates seasonal retail locations throughout Ontario and is seeking an energetic, organized and self-motivated candidate to operate our Retail Outlet in Waterdown, ON for the Canada Day sales periods.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial person to get a taste of what it means to run his/her own business. You will work in an exciting, fast-paced environment and will gain a wealth of experience in just a few weeks time. You will be challenged to be at your best and you will be well rewarded for it.

During sales periods , you will assist us to achieve top results by providing:

* The ability to work independently and oversee 1-2 other people;
* Strong organizational skills, including tight control of money
* Strong verbal communication skills;

EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate will have...
* Some experience using a cash register or POS System and handling money in a retail environment;
* Some familiarity with Consumer Fireworks is helpful but not essential (we will train);
* Previous Sales or Customer Service experience is preferred;
* Having your own vehicle or at least a valid driver's license is an asset;
* You must be punctual, attentive and conscientious about your work;
* Good references from your previous employers are a must
REMUNERATION:
* Combination of a guaranteed Pay + Additional Commissions
* All Training hours are paid.
DATES & HOURS:
* Training is for 2-3 days in beginning of June;
* Sale Event Hours are from vary between 10 am and 9pm daily from June 25th - July 1st, with 1 extra day for takedown.
* Additional work is available between and after the holidays for interested candidates.
