Novatek Welding and Fabrication is a custom welding, laser cutting, machining and fabrication shop specializing in mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel. We currently have an opening for a full time experienced Laser Operator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and understand the function of a newer Mitsubishi LVP 3015 Plus 4500 Watt Laser
- CO2 Laser experience is preferred
- CNC Nesting knowledge is preferred
- Maintain general maintenance of the laser and area equipment
- Read/comprehend drawings to perform quality checks and part inspection during the initial cuts
- Sort/Load materials by type and size (including related material handling)
- Maintain a clean/organized work area
- Fill out necessary paperwork or documentation.
- Ability to manage workload based on customer due dates
- Be a team player to work with others
- Perform other tasks as may be required from time to time
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Physically capable of lifting as required
- Forklift Training/Experience.
- Lifting Device Training/Certification
- Must be able to work independently
- Effective organization, planning, problem solving, and communication skills
