Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace throughout shifts
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Stock and replenish ingredients as needed, notifying management of supply shortages
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and accidents
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team during busy daytime shifts
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
