Onyx Construction Group is one of Calgary's growing renovation and construction companies, specializing in basement developments, legal suites, home renovations, commercial tenant improvements, and painting services. We're looking for a motivated, organized, and personable Administrative Assistant to become a key member of our team.
This is more than a typical admin role. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, help keep our office organized, support our sales team, and assist with our social media presence.
Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails
- Schedule appointments and site visits
- Manage calendars and daily schedules
- Prepare and organize documents, quotes, and customer files
- Data entry and CRM management
- General office organization and administrative support
Lead Qualification
- Respond promptly to new inquiries
- Call and pre-qualify potential clients
- Gather project details and budgets
- Book qualified appointments for our sales team
- Follow up with prospective clients when required
- Maintain accurate notes in our CRM
Social Media & Marketing
- Create and schedule social media posts
- Coordinate with photographer/videographer for content
- Assist with Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Respond to social media messages when required
- Help promote completed projects and company updates
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly and professional phone etiquette
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) is an asset
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Construction or renovation industry experience is considered an asset but not required
