Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Planner to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules across multiple client projects, ensuring material availability, and optimizing workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively across departments, and thrives on problem-solving to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and update production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, and inventory targets
- Coordinate production workflows for one or multiple products to ensure timely and efficient execution
- Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays
- Issue and manage work orders for production
Materials & Resource Coordination
- Work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Inventory teams to ensure raw material and packaging availability
- Determine manpower, equipment, and material requirements to meet production demand
- Monitor inventory levels and flag potential shortages or risks
Monitoring & Problem Resolution
- Track production progress and proactively adjust schedules to address delays, constraints, or changes
- Monitor jobs to ensure completion within timelines and budget
- Address production issues as they arise, aiming for minimal disruption to operations
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze production data (output, efficiency, defect rates, downtime) to identify improvement opportunities
- Support cost reduction and process optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control principles
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with math and basic statistics
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
