Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scalable web applications utilizing Java, JavaScript, and related frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services.
- Develop engaging front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring responsive design and excellent user experience.
- Manage database interactions with SQL-based systems such as MySQL and application-specific databases, optimizing queries for performance.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code, conduct testing, and deliver iterative improvements on time.
- Utilize version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to track changes, manage code repositories, and support continuous integration workflows.
- Deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, leveraging services like EC2, S3, or Azure App Services for scalable solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom APIs to extend application functionality while maintaining high standards of security.
- Write clean, maintainable code in multiple languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, ensuring cross-platform compatibility on Linux or Windows environments.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement best practices for software development across all layers of the stack.
Skills
- Extensive experience in web development with a strong command of JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular for front-end development.
- Proficiency in Java-based application development using frameworks such as Spring Boot or.NET for backend services.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases including MySQL and experience with database design and optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles along with experience integrating external APIs securely.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, Git, SVN for source code management.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban to facilitate efficient project delivery.
- Experience working on Linux environments along with scripting skills for automation tasks.
- Ability to develop software using multiple programming languages including C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, supporting diverse project requirements.
- Understanding of application security best practices to protect data integrity and user privacy across distributed systems.

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
