Overview
Work in a dynamic team at a continuously growing company that has been operating for 30 years in Roofing and Exteriors.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace various roofing materials using hand tools and power tools efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely to meet project demands
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofing systems
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing, trimming, and finishing roofing components as needed
- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety measures are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing/exterior projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools, caulking guns, and other roofing/exterior equipment
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to read blueprints accurately
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation or repairs
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Prior experience with roof/exterior installation or repair is highly desirable
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education (high school/technical school)
- Criminal record check
- Driver’s licence + International Driving Permit
- Mandatory English requirement
- 5 years of construction experience
- Working at heights — if you are afraid of working on ladders, roofs, or telescopic boom lifts, this job is not for you
