Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender and Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and upselling specials to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, including garnishing drinks and setting up serving stations
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Ensure guest safety by adhering to food handling and sanitation protocols at all times
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and upselling menu items
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a hospitality setting
