Job Description
Harmonaire Musique is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Concert Assistants to support our upcoming concert in Halifax on September 11, 2026.
This is a casual, temporary position for individuals who enjoy working in a professional arts environment and providing a welcoming and positive experience for audiences and artists.
Responsibilities
- Welcome audience members and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Check and scan concert tickets.
- Sell tickets on-site and assist audience members with ticket purchases.
- Assist with audience seating and venue navigation.
- Answer general questions about the concert, program, and venue.
- Assist with basic pre-concert setup and post-concert cleanup.
- Help set up and remove concert signage and promotional materials.
- Support artists and staff as needed.
- Assist with general front-of-house operations and event logistics.
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable interacting with members of the public in a professional setting.
- Able to stand for extended periods and assist with light setup tasks.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, events, performing arts, or front-of-house operations is considered an asset but is not required.

Schedule
This is a temporary position for Harmonaire Musique’s Halifax concert on September 11, 2026.
The shift will include pre-concert preparation, audience arrival and front-of-house operations, support during the concert as needed, and post-concert assistance.
Exact shift times will be confirmed with selected candidates.
Compensation
$16.75 per hour
