We are a broker-centric, equity-based lender. Our business model is exclusively B2B, focusing on creating strong, reliable partnerships with licensed mortgage professionals. Today, VWR has a portfolio of over $750 million in mortgages under administration.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for onboarding new brokers, re-engaging with brokers who have not communicated with us in some time, managing a portfolio of approximately 350-500 brokers and achieving sales targets. This role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, recording activities within a CRM system and a proactive approach to customer engagement. Your role is also to support and assist the entire sales team with overflow calls, emails and inquiries.

The Inside Sales Representative position is an entry level role structured towards development towards a more advanced internal sales role or external sales position, depending on the applicant.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Answering phone calls and emails, in a professional manner, efficiently and ensuring service standards are met or exceeded.
● Achieve, at a minimum, sales targets (KPIs) on a regular basis.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
● Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
● Identifying opportunities and assisting brokers in structuring deals prior to submission.
● Onboarding new brokers/agents via various sign-up channels, within all assigned territories.
● Maintaining and updating brokerage and broker data within internal systems.
● Scheduling routine broker/brokerage visits, office meetings, virtual meetings or phone calls for external Business Development Managers (BDM’s), as well as virtually within the portfolio.
● Effectively communicate between internal departments.
● Routinely reviewing sales reports for individual portfolio metrics as well as defined reports for external BDM’s. These reports will be utilized to grow partner relationships, ensure financial agreements between brokerage and VWR are met as well as incentive program fulfillment.
● Working alongside external BDM’s for trade shows, exhibitor booths or events that include travel, marketing giveaways and set up, when required.
● Occasional travel to provincial events to meet face to face with partners, learn routines and communication style requirements as per training plan.
● Filtering broker requests or complaints.
● Communicating with assigned portfolio partners via phone, text, DM, virtual video meetings, calendar invites or system as required.
● Create and promote awareness of the VWR Capital Corp. brand, products and services.
● Log all daily activities in the appropriate CRM system to ensure consistency and efficiency within the organization.
● Review monthly, weekly, quarterly sales reporting to ensure accuracy and to plan for targeted sales efforts.
● Report regularly to leaders on business metrics- monthly, quarterly and annually for assigned territory.
● Maintain a presence on social platforms to share educational, informational, or branding posts.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
● Bold, positive, energetic, coachable and goal oriented.
● Proven experience in a sales environment or mortgage industry is an asset.
● Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools, or ability to adapt technology.
● Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
● A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
● 2-3 years’ sales experience in residential mortgage lending/ mortgage broker network,
Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Client (B2C) sales or equivalent.
● Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
● Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
● Ability to negotiate and deliver both positive and tough messaging to broker partners.
● Proven ability to plan and manage resources in conjunction with the Director, Sales & Marketing and/or Business Development Managers.
● Meet professional development objectives to build capabilities in current role and for future roles by utilizing learning maps and external courses, as required.
● Knowledge of the residential mortgage market, broker network and emerging industry trends.
● Results oriented attitude with drive to grow individual and organizational results.
● Ability to work independently and build internal relationships with a team.
● Strong relationship builder and communicator (ability to carry a conversation); enjoy meeting people and are proficient at collaborating with others.

COMPENSATION DETAILS
● Full-Time Position
● Salary compensation paid semi-monthly, based on experience
● Remote position, however, ability to attend regular meetings out of our Langley location
● Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm PST, however, sales role varies based on portfolio, meetings and needs of brokers

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
