As the Materials Coordinator at Attabotics Inc. we will look to you for consolidation of manufactured & procured materials into a single point for hand off to our shipping teams. You will collaborate with various teams throughout your projects to ensure accuracy of item lists and product state while identifying any shortfalls to meet shipping schedules.
The Materials Coordinator will play an integral role in assisting in the development, improvement, and sustainment of our kitting process with a clear focus on repeatability & scalability.
Who you are
2-3 years of relevant coordination experience
Secondary Education related to Materials Planning/Handling is considered an asset
Training in Inventory and Materials Management is preferable
Strong ability to maintain effective communication both internally and externally as well as working a part of a team and individually
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Driver's license with proven safe driving record
Ability to work on shop floor & lift to 50lbs.
Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio) and ERP systems such as: JDE, SAP, Dynamics
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Willingness to learn new technologies
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
What we need
Consolidation of materials produced at multiple sites into one point or “kit”
Reading schedules, reports, and job orders to determine materials required, availability of stock, and order priority
Work closely with Planning & Inventory for any identified material shortfalls to fulfil orders
Examining material received are free of damage, verifying part numbers, and checking for discrepancies
Review ERP generated work orders or item lists as well as Engineered Drawings to ensure kits are accurate
Lead the development of work instructions for all kitted items
Work within our ERP system (Dynamics) to generate and/or complete orders
Identify missing, damaged, or delayed items and escalate to Planning
Support Planning & Inventory with cycle counts as well as full inventory counts
Perform other duties as required
