Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Store Staff to join our team of 6. This role involves providing exceptional service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales are highly valued to enhance customer experience and support diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Lottery Machine Use
- Filling Shelves, organizing inventory
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
Experience
- Previous experience in convenience store is preferred
- Willing to learn is okay too, we can train a strong candidate
- Multilingual or bilingual skills (English and Punjabi) are highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for cash handling tasks
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management abilities
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers effectively
