Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to food safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and taking orders
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including cleaning tables and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas, dining areas, and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately when required
- Support barista duties if needed, including preparing coffee and specialty beverages
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests
- Experience in food preparation and handling is a plus
- Barista experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
