This role is for someone who is or was a RIBO-licensed insurance broker looking for a new employee experience with our growing team. Or a highly motivated individual with organizational abilities and people skills looking for a profession to grow in as a licensed broker within 3-6 months.

What you would do
- Support clients with insurance-related inquiries by responding quickly, with compassion and related information.
- Proactively approach customers before their annual renewals to talk about opportunities and changes to their coverage after you have completed a thorough review of the file.
- Prepare and present options for the necessary automobile, property, marine, etc. policies to ensure clients can make informed decisions.
- Navigate the claims process with clients when a loss is incurred.
Research and resolve client problems, acting as the liaison between insurers when necessary.
- Keep apprised of industry trends, changes, and opportunities as they relate to our clients.
- Complete quote requests in our quotation management systems or company portals and electronic policy application packages for brokers.
- Work within our Broker Management System to document all communications and client activity in our Broker Management System.
- Ensure any cancellation request is followed up on immediately to understand why the customers are leaving Jones and any work we can do to retain the customer.

Accurate: crossing our t's and dotting our i's is vital to meeting our customers' needs and is integral to this position. We have all employees complete an assessment to benchmark their abilities.
What your background would look like
· Minimum 1 year working as a RIB is ideal but we are ready to train and help with the licensing path.
· Post-secondary education that is complementary to a related industry is desired.
· CAIB designation is valued but not compulsory.
· Experience with client management software and sales training is valued.
· Proficiency in Office 365 and basic technical competency are expected.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $60,000, dependent on experience with Commission—this is not a producer or business development role. Still, we generously compensate all our brokers when writing business with existing customers and generating referrals from your stellar customer service.
