ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE -We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations within our vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing inventory, and maintaining a high-quality dining experience for our guests. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality is essential to succeed in this position. The Kitchen Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team atmosphere and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation and cooking processes
- Oversee food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of performance and customer service
- Handle cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS systems), and restaurant management tasks
- Interview and onboard new team members, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service experiences
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold brand standards
- Address customer feedback professionally to resolve issues promptly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Familiarity with POS systems such as square POS or similar platforms
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments
- Experience in restaurant management, including inventory control and staff scheduling
- Background in hospitality or hotel industry is advantageous
- Prior barista or serving experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and food industry best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
