Our client, a full-service firm located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal
to join their team. This position would be a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a collegial and supportive work environment with flexibility to meet the candidate’s circumstances and the firm’s needs.
General Responsibilities:
Review commercial contracts of purchase and sale, easements, rights of way, subdivisions, and strata plan filing
Pr
epare documents concerning acquisitions and sales of various types of commercial properties, financing and development of land
Attend to the registration of documents and security in land title offices and other government registries
Conduct due diligence searches and provide comprehensive summaries to assist in decision-making processes
Liaise with all internal and external parties involved with the transaction, including preparation of correspondence
Assist with other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications & Attributes:
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience handling Commercial Real Estate Paralegal work, excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proven ability to handle assigned tasks independently and as part of a team. Energy, commitment, curiosity, and creativity are highly valued.
