Job Title: Shipping/Customer Service/Data Entry – 3PL Operations - NANAIMO BC
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Dispatcher/Customer Service person to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) warehouse. This role is responsible for managing the day to day logistics of transportation, arranging deliveries, incoming freight, manifesting and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping/Receiving
- Dispatching freight for deliveries in Nanaimo and surrounding areas.
- Creating BOL's and paperwork for deliveries.
- Work closely with our Head Office in Richmond
- Checking incoming freight for shortages or damages.
- Receiving items into the Warehouse.
Customer Service
- Making sure all manifests are filled out correctly.
- Ensuring all communication's with head office and customers alike are conducted in a friendly manner.
- Entering Data and doing various office paperwork.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in an office environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to use all Microsoft programs.
- Typing speed at least 50wpm
- Good understanding of written and spoken English.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
