Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to ensure smooth, flawless walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute directly to our mission of restoring spaces efficiently and with precision, helping clients return to normal life quickly.
Duties
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams for a seamless finish
- Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work
- Install corner beads and edge trims with precision using hand tools
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately measure and cut drywall materials
- Caulk joints and seams for a clean, professional appearance
- Assist with restoration projects involving drywall repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, plumbers, and other trades to ensure project accuracy and quality
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as taping knives, sanders, and drills
- Construction experience with a focus on drywall finishing or related trades
- Strong carpentry skills including measuring, cutting, and installing drywall components
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise work execution
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for finishing joints and seams
