SRI Homes - Shelter, a manufacturing operation plant in Estevan, is recruiting for a
Shelter Home Systems, the founding plant of SRI Homes, started building homes in Estevan,
Saskatchewan in 1978. Shelter delivers homes from Western Ontario to British Columbia and
from the North West Territories to the US Border. We sit on 17 acres of land in a building of
90,000 square feet, averaging over 100 employees. Shelter has built almost 25,000 homes.
right here in Southern Saskatchewan. Shelter continues to grow, offering homes, commercial structures and industrial buildings to all Western Canada.
REPORTING TO: Production Manager
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity planning and deployment of resources
- Process management
- Understanding of One-Piece Flow, Lean Manufacturing and Constraint Management
- Basic knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Passion for Continuous Improvement and Quality Management
The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years’ experience in Residential/Commercial Building Construction along with familiarity with Residential Blueprints and factory experience.
You must have the ability to prioritize objectives and duties, have sound planning and organization skills and are able to support a cross-functional plant management team. Having excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must for this position.
