Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS. You will not be considered for this position if you are unable to work Saturdays.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing orders and payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with training new staff members in bartending techniques and customer service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or bartending is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices within a restaurant setting.
- Understanding of food safety standards to ensure health compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff alike.
