Domino's Pizza Assistant Manager
We're looking for a dependable, energetic Assistant Manager join one of our Domino's Pizza stores. In this role you'll be the right hand to the Store Manager — leading shifts, motivating the team, and making sure every customer gets a hot, high-quality pizza delivered fast. Key Responsibilities
Shift & Store Operations
- Open and/or close the store, including cash counts, equipment checks, and securing the building
- Run shifts independently, keeping the team on pace to meet service and delivery-time goals
- Ensure orders are made accurately and to Domino's image and quality standards
- Operate all stations as needed — make-line, oven, cut table, phones, and delivery
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise, coach, and motivate team members during your shifts
- Help train new hires on procedures, food safety, and customer service
- Assist the Store Manager with scheduling and shift assignments
- Set the tone for a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
Customer Service
- Deliver friendly, professional service in person and over the phone
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and fairly to keep guests coming back
- Uphold accuracy and speed on every order
Cash & Inventory Management
- Handle cash, process transactions, and prepare accurate bank deposits
- Monitor food and supply inventory; place orders and receive deliveries
- Help control food, labor, and waste costs to hit store targets
Food Safety & Cleanliness
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and health-code requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized store — kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and exterior
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
Qualifications
Required
- 18 years of age or older
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred
- Prior supervisory or shift-lead experience
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for the majority of a shift
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally more)
- Bend, reach, and work around hot ovens and kitchen equipment
- Tolerate varying temperatures (hot kitchen, cold walk-in cooler)
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
