Property Manager Assistant for Reimer Agencies Ltd.
Steinbach Apartments is a growing, family-run business supplying Steinbach with well-built and professionally managed housing in Steinbach and Blumenort.
Our property management staff operate out of an office and attached warehouse at 211 Main St. in Steinbach.
The Role:
The candidate will be organized and have an aptitude for outstanding customer service. The candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task. Reporting to the Property Manager, in addition to regular monthly and annual tasks, you will ensure tenant satisfaction, compliance with Residential Tenancies Branch regulations, and engagement with special projects as requested.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive wage package and health benefits program. The position is part-time, but could change to full-time. Regular Monday - Friday, work hours are expected. Some flexibility can be accommodated for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Monitor and respond to tenant communication across various mediums; updating databases
● Leasing support; process applications
● Coordinate maintenance requests and suite turnovers
● Collect rent; track payments
● Data entry
● Occasional emergency phone dispatch responsibilities
● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Attributes:
● Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone and email etiquette
● Proficient in office administration tasks, digital filing and record keeping
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
● Ability to negotiate effectively
● Familiarity with QuickBooks and Google suite preferred, but not necessary
● Valid driver's license
