Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
The Maintenance Associate / Forklift Operator plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized medical supply warehouse while operating material handling equipment. This position combines equipment operation with facility maintenance, inventory support, and general warehouse duties in a highly regulated, temperature-controlled environment where attention to detail is critical.
Responsibilities

Operate a reach forklift approximately 80% of the time to move, put away, replenish, and pick products throughout the warehouse.

Perform manual lifting and material handling tasks approximately 20% of the time to support daily warehouse operations.

Assist with inventory control activities, including counting, verifying, and organizing medical products.

Use RF scanners to accurately pick, put away, and replenish products and to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.

Maintain an accurate housekeeping log and complete daily cleaning and maintenance checklists.

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), corporate policies, and all safety policies, including safe work practices and proper use of equipment.

Assist in picking orders, replenishment, and put-away tasks to support overall distribution and fulfillment operations.

Perform other duties as requested by supervisory staff or distribution leadership.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse that handles a wide range of products in a strictly controlled and clean setting. The facility is temperature-controlled, with work occurring approximately 60% of the time in room-temperature areas, 35% in cooler environments, and about 5% in freezer conditions. Freezer areas are maintained below -15°C, while cooler (fridge) zones range between 2–7°C. The work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The warehouse uses higher-level technology, including RF scanners and material handling equipment, and operates with a focused, detail-oriented culture where everyone is engaged in their work and quality standards are high. The team on the floor consists of about 13 people, fostering a collaborative yet professional environment. Due to the cooler conditions, employees dress appropriately for the temperature, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their shift.
