Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Experience in hotel or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas, hallways, and service corridors are kept tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe environment
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with guests and team members
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality service
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties efficiently throughout the shift
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
