Overview
Saskatoon Misbah School is a Certified Independent School in Saskatoon, serving 200 + students from Kindergarten to grade 8. Our staff teaches the ministry approved provincial curriculum in addition to Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate middle years Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students, fostering their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Teachers will be paid at 90% of the STF salary grid.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum learning outcomes and cater to various learning styles.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning experiences.
- Incorporate technology into the classroom during instruction and student research.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Professional A Certification is required.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills are an asset.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and communications regarding student progress.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Interested in bringing additional expertise and contributing to student engagement through offering extra curricular activities and or clubs.

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
