Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hard working first or second year Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems and related trades, providing a foundation for a career in the plumbing industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and possess a strong work ethic. This paid apprenticeship provides valuable training under the supervision of experienced professionals, with opportunities to develop skills in various aspects of plumbing and heating.
Duties
- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support plumbing installation projects
- Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Support the installation of plumbing systems, including pipe fitting, caulking, and fixture placement.
- Participate in construction estimating activities to understand project scope and material requirements
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during daily operations
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with basic plumbing
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques is advantageous
- Experience in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, welding, or electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong interest in learning plumbing systems and construction processes
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment
