Let’s Get Moving is searching for an experienced, detail-oriented SEO Content Writer to join a successful content agency and help us create high-quality content that ranks.
Your primary responsibility will be to create informative and engaging articles that provide high value to our target audience and consistently achieve high SERP rankings. You must have a solid knowledge of core SEO principles and the ability to seamlessly incorporate keywords and keyword variations into your articles.
You will be expected to conduct in-depth research on various topics to ensure your articles are 100% factually correct and aligned with our readers’ search intent. As an SEO Content Writer at Let’s Get Moving, you will work as a content team member. You will be expected to collaborate with our editors and implement their feedback and suggestions in your articles.
Apart from applying SEO best practices to your articles, you must follow our internal linking guidelines and consider internal linking opportunities in your content. This means you’ll be expected to contextually include the mandatory internal links provided in your content brief and find opportunities to link to other articles in the content series, where appropriate.
To excel in the role, you must have an excellent grip on English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style. In-depth knowledge of current SEO practices is obligatory.
Our ultimate goal is to produce high-quality content that consistently ranks high on Google and reliably generates organic traffic for our brand/clients.
Responsibilities
- Creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for Let’s Get Moving and 3rd party websites.
- Delivering 2000 words of written content per day that is factually accurate, informative, engaging, and free of grammatical errors.
- Implementing feedback and suggestions from our SEO team.
- Adhering to our internal linking guidelines and contextually including mandatory internal links from content briefs into your articles.
- Attending weekly team meetings.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with SEO and content writing.
- SEMrush and other keyword research tools.
- Portfolio of your best content.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of written English.
- Solid knowledge of core SEO principles (keywords and keyword variations, keyword stuffing, internal linking, etc.) and the ability to apply them to written content.
- Able to commute to 21 Four Seasons Pl, Toronto, ON M9B 0A6.
- Availability Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
