What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will perform operational risk, control/attestation activities, manage internal control reporting to Client Operations SLT and assist with reporting on control reports. You will support activities as a delegate of Application Custodian for ControlNet with a focus on risk management, vendor engagement, and the primary center of excellence with global accountability.
In addition, you will look to support monitoring of control & regulatory changes for Client Operations to ensure compliance with Enterprise policies and implement these in collaboration with Operational Control, Investor & Treasury Services (I&TS) Compliance, AML Compliance, and other relevant key stakeholders across I&TS and RBC Enterprise. You will drive the delivery of operational efficiencies within the control and regulatory environment in Client Operations.
What will you do?
Support activities related to ControlNet Application tool management. This entails: assessing risks, controls and monitoring, user management, incident and query management, and overall application and vendor management
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and centralized point of contact for business issues pertaining to the use of ControlNet including user configuration and maintenance in consultation with business users
Help drive forward the adoption of ControlNet across Client Operations globally
Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Client Operation control framework in collaboration with key stakeholders across I&TS and RBC Enterprise
Support the production of the monthly internal control reports for Client Operations SLT and other key stakeholders
Manage attestation of key risks, internal audit, and compliance requirements such as EUDA’s, External Audit and others as required
Support management within the implementation of new processes and projects to increase quality service, ensure accuracy, and facilitate efficient delivery solutions.
Document and review processes that govern the activities within Client Operations assigned by management
Work to prevent, detect, and eliminate the potential for risk and liability to the organization
Assist in rolling out Client Operations process governance framework, working closely with relevant stakeholders across different geographies to deliver against our strategy
Analyze, design, implement uniform and robust processes to ensure a high degree of automated processing
