We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Transportation Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities within the transportation and logistics sector
- Manage and grow accounts by providing tailored freight solutions that meet customer needs
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline development
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of freight shipments and supply chain processes
- Conduct data entry related to orders, shipments, and customer information using systems such as AS400
- Develop proposals and presentations for prospective clients, emphasizing the value of our transportation services
- Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal departments to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape in B2B transportation sales
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent customer relationship management capabilities to foster long-term partnerships
- Knowledge of freight operations, supply chain logistics, and 3PL services
- Experience in B2B sales environments with a focus on inside sales strategies

Pay: $41,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
