Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior HVAC Technician to lead the service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across diverse residential settings. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units with precision and efficiency
- Install new HVAC equipment following detailed schematics and technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and performance testing to maximize system longevity and efficiency
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including drainage and piping repairs or installations
- Utilize welding skills for custom fabrication or repair of HVAC components when necessary
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and troubleshooting processes
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into the project
- Promote our products and offer upgrades and add on systems to improve overall comfort.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong mechanical background
- Extensive knowledge of refrigeration, brazing, boiler operation, and appliance repair related to HVAC infrastructure
- Ability to read detailed schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installations or upgrades
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing various systems such as boilers, ductwork, thermostats, and control panels
- Strong maintenance skills with the ability to perform preventive inspections and emergency repairs efficiently
- Valid certifications in HVAC technology; additional certifications in plumbing or welding are a plus
- Prior experience working with schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
