Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Aesthetician to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skincare and beauty services, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients. The Aesthetician will be responsible for delivering professional skincare, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and other aesthetic services while promoting retail products and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and recommending suitable treatments and products.
- Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and managing guest services efficiently.
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to promote retail sales of skincare products and beauty tools.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product usage, and ongoing maintenance to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product innovations to provide current and effective services.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as an Aesthetician or Skin Care Specialist.
- Experience in body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or related aesthetic services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a spa or salon environment.
- Ability to perform multiple treatments efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
- Retail sales experience or interest in upselling products is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing personalized guest services.
