Job Description: Information Resource Analyst. To review, research and update all relevant community resource and referral information. To create an asset map of the community highlighting locations of facilities and services directed at the 55+ community. To create a searchable database to store all information and assist with development of publication of new information.
Tasks:
· To review all FYI brochures and update and research new resources
· To review resource files and update as required
· Connect with all partner agencies and ensure we have current mandate, goals and contact information
· Develop updated Seniors discount list
· To review all web based resources and update
· Research and document catchment programs, service, and facilities that benefit the 55+ community
· Develop format for publication of revised information
Skills and Abilities:
· Exceptional organizational and strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to mine information and connect with services and organizations
· Proficient in Excel
· Good design skills
· Understanding of the 55+ community needs and challenges an asset
· Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, to take initiative and demonstrate imagination and resourcefulness
· Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
· Have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
Pay: $16.00 per hour
