We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our specialty pharmacy team in Spruce Grove. This full-time contract position runs until the end of July, with Monday to Friday hours. Our pharmacy is committed to exceptional patient care through comprehensive medication dispensing, customized compounding, chronic disease monitoring, and a wide range of health support services.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient, high-quality patient care and customer service.
- Streamline daily pharmacy operations to improve workflow.
- Assist in measuring, counting, and packaging medications.
- Enter patient profiles and prescription details into pharmacy databases, and process third-party insurance claims to resolve billing issues.
- Monitor stock levels, unpack and shelve deliveries, check expiration dates, and remove or dispose of damaged/expired products.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong work ethic with strict adherence to compliance and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with third-party adjudication.
- Adept with Kroll PMS preferred.
- Willingness to go above and beyond with patient care.
