Aqua Essence Swim Academy is a leading swimming school focused on helping students of all ages – from infants to seniors – feel comfortable, strong, and competent in the water. Since its launch in 2002, Aqua Essence has trained thousands of swimmers in Manitoba. As a swim school, we want to create a smooth customer experience from the first inquiry until a client leaves the pool. This is where you come in!
Do you love meeting and talking to people? Providing excellent customer service? Do you enjoy working in an inclusive community of people? Are you sales-focused and able to "close the deal"? We are currently hiring for our customer service/front desk team. The customer service reps are the first point of contact for all clients and new clients coming into use the facility and answer all their questions in person.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients
- Answering questions about our swim school
- Relaying messages to appropriate leaders
- Giving tours of the facility
- Checking- in clients and make sure all those who come into the facility are registered
- Assisting new clients with registration
- Making and processing retail sales
- Selling swim lessons
- Keeping front desk area and lobby organized and clean
- Light cleaning around lobby and facility
- General duties as assigned
Do you:
- Have a friendly nature
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Display strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Hold a current Standard First Aid Certification and CPR C (or be willing to get one as a term of employment)
- Hold a current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check (or be willing to get them as a term of employment)
- Must be able to ask questions
During July & August, we are hiring both full and part time team members, with all positions becoming part time during the school year/fall/winter.
