Job Summary
The Warehouse & Production Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of manufacturing, assembly, and warehouse departments at U Technology Corporation. This position oversees production scheduling, inventory management, shipping and receiving, quality control, and employee performance while ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.
Working closely with Engineering and Management, the Lead coordinates production priorities, allocates resources, improves processes, and ensures customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule. This role directly supervises the Manufacturing & Warehouse Coordinator and other production personnel.

Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Supervise daily manufacturing, and electronics assembly operations.
- Coordinate production schedules with Engineering, and Management to ensure customer delivery timelines are achieved.
- Assign work priorities and monitor production progress throughout the day.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Monitor productivity and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead prototype builds, custom manufacturing projects, and new product introductions.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Warehouse Operations
- Assist/sub as needed with all warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, picking, shipping, stock replenishment, and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Oversee incoming inspections and proper storage of components and finished goods.
- Monitor warehouse organization, storage optimization, and material flow throughout the facility.
Team Leadership
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to warehouse and production staff.
- Train employees on manufacturing procedures, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee training as required.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all manufactured products meet company quality standards before shipment.
- Oversee product testing, inspections, and documentation.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality and productivity.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address workplace hazards.
- Ensure employees are trained on safe operating procedures for machinery, tools, and material handling equipment.
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
Facility & Equipment Management
- Monitor production equipment, tools, and warehouse machinery to ensure reliable operation.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
- Maintain production workstations and warehouse organization.
- Recommend facility improvements to increase efficiency and support future growth.
- Take ownership in leading and supporting initiatives aimed at optimizing facility and keeping maintenance schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, or production operations.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- Experience with electronics assembly, soldering, low-voltage electrical systems, and production equipment.
- Forklift certification (must).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
