Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service at the cashier station.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.
- Previous experience in the food industry or food preparation is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering is a plus.
