Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a baker/cake decorator/customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food preparation and customer interactions meet our high standards. You will play a crucial role in baking, cake decorating, customer interaction and cash management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate the POS system, Square, shopify.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or bakery setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling guidelines is essential.
- Experience with cashiering and managing cash transactions is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
