Lorette Golf Course – Seasonal Pro Shop Team Members (August–October)

Positions Available
- 2 Full-Time Positions (30–40 hours per week)
- 2 Part-Time Positions (15–25 hours per week)
Shift Availability
Our Pro Shop operates daily from 6:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m., with hours adjusting slightly throughout the season.
Typical shifts include:
- Morning: 6:15 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
- Afternoon/Evening: 2:15 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.
We offer flexible scheduling and are happy to work around school, university, athletics, and other employment commitments.

About Lorette Golf Course
Recently voted Manitoba's Best 9-Hole Golf Course, Lorette Golf Course is located just 15 minutes southeast of Winnipeg. We welcome members, public golfers, leagues, tournaments, and banquet guests throughout the season, creating a fun and dynamic workplace where no two days are the same.
As our business continues to grow, we're expanding our Pro Shop team to provide outstanding service to every guest who visits our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage tee time bookings and daily Pro Shop operations
- Process guest check-ins, retail sales, and point-of-sale transactions
- Maintain attractive retail displays and a clean, organized clubhouse
- Support tournament preparation and event operations
- Assist with food and beverage service during busy periods
- Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Assist with additional duties as required, including Beverage Cart service
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with people.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience (an asset but not required)
- Interest in golf or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with guests both in person and by phone
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn POS systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Smart Choices certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation (Lorette Golf Course is located outside Winnipeg city limits)
Compensation
- Starting wage: $16.50 per hour
