Temporary Full-Time (December 2019 to September 2020)
Location: Sudbury, Ontario
The NEO Kids – Children’s Treatment Centre at Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative and dedicated Occupational Therapist with relevant experience working in a Professional Health department in a healthcare environment. Through the use of a holistic, client, and family-centred approach, the successful candidate will optimize safety, functional ability, and well-being to enable participation in activities of daily living within the areas of self-care, productivity (e.g. work, home, and school) and leisure throughout each level of the developmental spectrum (e.g. birth to end of life). This approach will emphasize the physical, cognitive, affective, and spiritual components of clients’ functional performance and the physical, institutional, social, and cultural aspects of the environment.
The successful candidate should have a Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). They should also have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a pediatric environment and experience working with people who have severe and persistent physical and/or mental illness.

Salary: $35.42 - $43.36 / hour
