Job Overview
We are seeking hard working, fun, and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the goals of individualized treatment plans.
- Implement ABA strategies and interventions during therapy sessions to promote skill acquisition and behaviour modification.
- Engage with clients using play based approaches to enhance skills
- Collect and analyze data on each child's progress, adjusting targets as necessary based on findings.
- Consistency in therapy approaches across different settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and any changes in behavior or skills.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to care and special education.
- Ability to work with clients of various ages (2-17) and skill set
Qualifications
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Strong data collection skills for tracking progress and outcomes effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential through effective therapeutic interventions.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
