Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for technology and products, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling and suggest complementary products to increase sales
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations
- Manage time effectively to assist multiple customers during busy periods
- Use phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries and follow-up calls professionally
- Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization
- Assist with basic math calculations for transactions and pricing adjustments
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Basic math skills for transactions, pricing, and inventory counts
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining independence in daily tasks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail setting
Pay: $17.20-$27.60 per hour
