Quick Stats
- Pay: $18.25hr + 4% vacation pay + share of tips pool (avg $10+/hr in high season)
- Shifts: two to three shifts per week; e.g. 1pm to 6pm.
The Job
Our Kitchen Assistants prep food, wash dishes, and keep our kitchen clean and stocked. We will train you on all of the above, as well as cider! This is a great job working with a positive group of people in a gorgeous setting. Other benefits:

About You
You are a stickler for cleanliness who is friendly and hard working, and you enjoy cooking. In addition, you have:
- Education: Food Safe Level 1 - required; Serving it Right and First Aid Certification - an asset;
- Vocational experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or deli - as asset.
- Communication skills: Demonstrated success in teamwork.
- Personal aptitude: Reliable! Open to feedback! Able to work well with others and to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done!
- Work week availability: Able to work two to three shifts per week; e.g. 1pm to 6pm.
- Physicality: The physical strength to safely lift and carry heavy items (up to 25 kg); work on your feet for hours at a time; perform frequent physical movements in a kitchen throughout the day and to work indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.
- A Health & Safety mindset and an aptitude for cleaning
- Continuous Improvement: A desire to work for a business that is growing and seeking to continually improve
