Location: This position is remote and can be located any where in Canada or USA.
About the role
The Senior Manager, Social Media will lead the development of an enterprise-wide social media strategy for Ceridian's owned social channels that drives measurable growth and user engagement on a global scale.
They will oversee content creation and curation, issues management, community engagement, and data and analytics for Ceridian's organic social media efforts. They will also lead Ceridian's social media employee advocacy program, employee social media policies, and issues management program.
The successful candidate has a passion for social media trends, innovations and tools, and will seek authentic ways for Ceridian to educate, inspire, and engage. They excel at making critical, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment. They have proven expertise creating and executing social media strategies that deliver value and align with business objectives. They are an experienced leader, trusted partner, and a collaborative team player.
Roles and responsibilities
Lead strategy implementation across all social channels and spearhead a cohesive, seamless and on-brand social experience for Ceridian's employees, prospects, customers, analysts, and global social media community
Provide competitive intelligence and insight into social media landscape and assess the business value of social media initiatives
Serve as the strategic expert and thought leader across all social media platforms, consulting with senior leadership, communications, branding and web, competitive intelligence, demand generation, events teams to maximize impact of integrated marketing campaigns
Collaboration with communications, digital marketing, content marketing, brand marketing, and HR to execute comprehensive social media strategies that tie back to business objectives
Drive engagement on social media channels through development and execution of new, creative programs that position Ceridian as a leading global HCM technology company
Write social media copy that engages audiences and makes an impact
Grow and lead Ceridian's employee advocacy program, focusing on strategic goals and metrics to grow Ceridian's global social media footprint
Lead Ceridian's social media issues management program with the goal of mitigating risk and protecting the brand
Recognize new standards, create new processes and partner to update them as needed
Bachelor's degree in business, social or digital marketing or equivalent
Progressive and proven work experience leading the social media function for recognized brands, preference for those within technology and/or B2B software
Deep knowledge on all major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite application, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Google Analytics
Passion and understanding for analytics and key performance indicators relating to the health and growth of social channels
Experience in end-to-end content development, digital production, distribution, and measurement
Skilled writer who can write compelling social media copy on behalf of the Ceridian brand, executives, and other key stakeholders
Experience leading development of influencer and partnership strategies to enhance Ceridian's social presence and provide reach beyond existing practices
Passion for visual storytelling through creative social media copy and impactful graphics
Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to use these skills to build relationships and interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Effective budget management
Knowledge/experience in the HCM/HR/Cloud Tech industry an asset
