About the Role
A well-established service-based business in Lethbridge is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to support its finance function across multiple locations. This is a hands-on bookkeeping and administrative role for someone who enjoys keeping the numbers clean, the payments moving, and the lines of communication open between the finance team, operational staff, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Manage accounts payable: process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and ensure timely, accurate disbursements
- Manage accounts receivable: issue invoices, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Process deposits and assist with cash management
- Coordinate with staff in operational areas across locations on AP, AR, payments, and deposit matters
- Liaise with external parties, including vendors and customers, to respond to information requests and resolve account inquiries
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed
What You Bring
- Strong bookkeeping skills with a solid grasp of core accounting processes (AP, AR, reconciliations)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, service-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
- No accounting designation is required for this role
