Automation & Advanced Technologies Estimator- Windsor Ontario
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled and dependable Automation & Advanced Technologies Estimator to join the AIS Technologies Group team at the Windsor Ontario location. This individual will assist in delivering innovative solutions including complex automated assemblies, controls, vision, robotic and software products to Automotive, Food & Beverage and Aerospace manufacturers.
Responsibilities include
· Reporting to the VP and working the Sales & Estimating team to analyze opportunities and provide solutions to our customers
· Estimating costs and labour for Controls Systems, Vision Systems, Robotic Systems, Custom Automation Equipment and Software Solutions
· Working with operations teams to ensure customer needs are being met.
· Occasional travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays.
Applicant will need to demonstrate
Advanced technical understanding of Controls systems, Robotics, Machine Vision and Mechanics associated with industry. Additionally an understanding of Software development or programming would be beneficial.
Position requirements
· 3 to 5 years’ experience working in an industry with transferable technical skills
· Experience in 3D CAD design, preferably with Solidworks would be an asset
· Problem solving skills
· PC literacy in a Microsoft environment
· Ability to learn and comprehend advanced technologies
· Extreme diligence in organization
· Knowledge of and experience with industrial plant processes and mechanics preferred
· Knowledgeable with Control and Machine Vision Systems, Robotics applications and manufacturing solutions in Automotive, Aerospace, F&B and logistics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
