Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by preparing patients, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow. Applicant should have a Dental Assisting qualification Level I or II and should have a minimum 1 year experience in Canada as an assistant. Please apply in confidence.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for patient procedures
- Assist the dentist during various dental treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental software such as OpenDental
- Provide post-treatment instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and medical histories using medical terminology
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
